Food Safety Supervisor Workshop


Join us for an informative and hands-on Food Safety Supervisor Course!

This course is for people in cafes and restaurants, take-away food outlets, food truck operators, caterers, Children's Services|ECEC|OOSH and Aged Care. Learn the essential skills and knowledge required to become a certified Food Safety Supervisor.


At the successful completion of this course, you will receive your Nationally Recognised Accreditation|Statement of Attainment for SITXFSA005 and SITXFSA006 (via our partner RTO #41007) and your Food Safety Supervisor registration and Certification from the NSW Food Authority (within the required 10 days)

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday 13th December

  • Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm - We will be starting on time, please arrive 15 mins prior.

  • Location: Tuggerah Lakes Community Centre, 1 Bay Village Road, Bateau Bay NSW, Australia (next to The Entrance Leagues Club near Bay Village Shopping Centre, otherwise shown as Bateau Bay Men's Shed on Google, thanks Google!)

During this in-person event, experienced instructors will guide you through the latest food safety regulations and best practices. You'll gain practical insights through interactive activities and real-life scenarios.

 

You will be completing the full assessment onsite including the practical demonstration and signed off by two highly experienced, qualified Trainers and Assessors. By the end of the course, you'll have the confidence to handle food safely, support your staff in food safety and prevent foodborne illnesses.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Understanding your legal obligations

  • Unpacking Standard 3.2.2A

  • Maintain and monitor food safety practices

  • Identifying and preventing food safety hazards

  • Understand how HACCP works

  • Follow food safety programs

 

What to bring: Photo ID, your completed enrolment form, including USI number, water, blue or black biro, notebook, bring your own ready to eat lunch. Your enthusiasm and willingness to participate in this engaging workshop.

What to wear: Enclosed shoes, clean comfortable clothing, an apron if you have one, Hair ties or hair nets or chefs cap.

What we will provide: Morning and afternoon tea. Hard copy assessment documents.

T&C's: For cancellations between 7 - 10 business days a full refund is issued. For cancellations between 5 - 6 business days prior to event incurs a $55 administration fee which is retained from the refund. Cancellations less than 4 business days incurs a $145 cancellation fee.

This course comprises of two units SITXFSA005 & SITXFSA006. Covering Food Safety Standard 3.2.2A. The day will consist of presentation, group work, completion of written and practical assessment. A Certificate of Attainment via our RTO Partner and certification by the NSW Food Authority will be issued to competent completion within 7 business days.
