Food Safety Supervisor Workshop

Join us for an informative and hands-on Food Safety Supervisor Course!

This course is for staff and business owners in cafes and restaurants, take-away food outlets, food truck operators, caterers, school canteens, Children's Services|ECEC|OOSH and Aged Care. Learn the essential skills and knowledge required to become a certified Food Safety Supervisor.


At the successful completion of this course, you will receive your Nationally Recognised Accreditation | Statement of Attainment for SITXFSA005 and SITXFSA006 (via our partner RTO #41007) and your Food Safety Supervisor registration and Certification from the NSW Food Authority.

Event Details:

  • Date: TBC

  • Time: 8.30am to 4.00pm - We will be starting on time, please arrive 15 mins prior.

  • Location:  TBC - Ourimbah NSW.

During this in-person event, experienced instructors will guide you through the latest food safety regulations and best practices. You'll gain practical insights through interactive activities and real-life scenarios.

 

You will be completing the full assessment onsite including the practical demonstration and signed off by experienced, qualified Trainer and Assessor. By the end of the course, you'll have the confidence to handle food safely, support your staff in food safety and prevent foodborne illnesses.

  • Unpacking Standard 3.2.2A

  • Maintain and monitor food safety practices

  • Identifying and preventing food safety hazards

  • Understand how HACCP works

Pre-Enrolment Essential - We do not accept walk-ins for this course.

What to bring: Photo ID, your completed enrolment form, including USI number, water, blue or black biro, notebook, bring your own ready to eat lunch. Your enthusiasm and willingness to participate in this engaging workshop.

What to wear: Enclosed shoes, clean comfortable clothing, an apron if you have one, Hair ties or hair nets or chefs cap.

Join us for an informative Child Protection workshop!

This course is for Educators, Trainees of Children's Services|ECEC|OOSH, Family day care, Nannies, Homeschooling Educators and any professional who works with young children.


At the successful completion of this course, you will receive your Nationally Recognised Accreditation | Statement of Attainment for CHCPRT025 (via our partner RTO #41007).

Event Details:

  • Date:  TBA - June 2024

  • Time: 9.45am to 2.45pm (5 hours) - We will be starting on time, please arrive 15 mins prior.

  • Location:  Ourimbah NSW.

​

During this in-person event, your experienced instructor will guide you through the latest child protection and NQS regulations and best practices. You'll gain practical insights on child protection strategies, abuse indicators, online child exploitation, Risk of Serious Harm - ROSH, responding to disclosure, learn about prescribed bodies, we will discuss documentation, confidentiality requirements, referrals and support for families, regulatory bodies and your legal responsibilities as a mandatory reporter.

 

You will be completing the full assessment onsite in hard copy, including the practical demonstration task and signed off by a qualified Trainer and Assessor.

 

By the end of the course, you'll have the confidence to;

  • Identify abuse/neglect indicators, including online risks

  • Respond to disclosure

  • Confidently complete a mock mandatory report using the MRG online portal

  • Identify and engage with prescribed bodies

  • Understand your role in advocacy for vulnerable children

  • Act in accordance with Mandatory Reporter requirements

  • Understand reportable conduct

  • Complete related documentation/records

  • Identify related Laws, Acts Government Authorities

  • Support your colleagues in documenting & reporting ROSH concerns

The workshop will run with a minimum of 5 attendees. Please note, if we don't reach our minimum amount of attendees, the workshop will be re-scheduled. Cancellation initiated by us results in a full refund.

Due to venue hire and other incurred costs by Tomorrow's People Education the following applies to cancellations by attendees.

 

*Cancellations prior to and including the 26th May will receive a full refund. 

*Cancellations from the 27th - 29th May will incur a $59 late cancellation fee to be withheld from the refund. 

*Cancellations from 30th May - 1st June will incur a $99 late cancellation fee to be withheld from the refund.

*Cash payment is accepted, however, a $99 online deposit is required to secure your spot and the remaining balance can be paid in cash prior to or on the workshop day. Please arrive at 9am if you are using this option.

 

*We do not accept on-the-day walk-ins. Late enrollments will only be accepted once we have the minimum number of attendees confirmed.
